Paco Rabanne's 1 Million was inspired by Rabanne's metallic fashions, in particular a 1967 dress worn by singer Françoise Hardy, and the bottle is modelled after a gold ingot. Perfumers Olivier Pescheux, Christophe Raynaud and Michel Girard developed it around grapefruit, mint and blood orange, rose and cinnamon, then blond leather, white woods, amber and patchouli. This is the tester edition: the same fragrance, shipped in a plain box rather than the retail packaging.
